Yoga has 8 limbs. The name “8 Limbs” comes from the Sanskrit term Ashtanga and refers to theeight limbs of yoga: Yama (attitudes toward our environment), Niyama (attitudes toward ourselves), Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (restraint or expansion of the breath), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (complete integration).
Today being the International Yoga Day we, at Laxmi Global School, began our day with Asanas for students. Yoga sessions are conducted for students on daily basis so it was quite easy for them. Dr. Keyur Nayak (Director LIM) gave motivational speech for the staff of LGS educators in which, he spoke about "How one can achieve excellence in life by spirituality".
30 minutes yoga session was conducted for the LGS staff members by Physical Instructor of the school Mr. Sanny Rathod.
