Laxmi Global School
LIGHTS, CAMERA,ACTION!
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in schools being globally closed. Over 1.2 billion children are out of the face-to-face classrooms. As a result, education has changed drastically, with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Research suggests that online learning has shown to increase retention of information and takes less time too.
To enhance this present learning process, our Trustee member Ms Kinjal Gajera saw a vision to reach our students more effectively, in which, a state of art multimedia recording studio was set up at the Laxmi Vidyapeeth Campus, Sarigam. Here educators can record professional teaching videos in front of the green Croma Screen with classes also being conducted live from the studio.

An educator can put best of his/her imagination to make effective videos and make the teaching learning process interesting.
Technology has the power to transform teaching by implementing a new model of connected learning. This model links educators to their students and to professional content, resources, and systems to help them improve their own instruction and personalize learning.

Simultaneously, new technology brings in new challenges. It is extremely important to understand the working of the software and hardware that all are going to use. A three days training was conducted for the LGS staff to understand the basics of the hardware and software.
The training covered understanding of OBS studio in setting up the background scenes as per the educator's requirement, handling of tablets , stylus and other hardware equipment.
